||If the name Lambrusco has negative connotations of mass produced cheap wine keep reading. This is the absolute opposite of what most think of when they hear Lambrusco. Found in the heart of Emilia La Piccola has been run by the Fontanas since the mid sixties. This small family estate has excellent growing conditions and produces exceptional traditional Lambrusco. Artisanal production from hand harvested, old vines results in exceptional red wine that is made in the lightly sparkling style. Traditionally it would be drunk at cellar temperature but is delicious chilled. Great with Pizza!
